A Delhi Traffic Police head constable, who attacked a young woman with a brick here on Monday after she refused to pay a Rs.200 bribe, was arrested.
"Head Constable Satish Chandra has been arrested and is being questioned at the Tughlak Road police station. Relevant IPC sections will be registered against him after the inquiry," Joint Commissioner of Police M.K. Meena told IANS.
The woman told the media that the policeman hit her with the brick and twisted her arm after she refused to pay him Rs.200 as bribe.
