Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy was on Sunday sworn in as acting Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.
Roy gets the additional charge during Arunachal Pradesh Governor Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa's leave of absence.
Assembly Speaker Wangki Lowang, Chief Minister Kalikho Pul and several ministers were present at Raj Bhavan here when Guwahati High Court Chief Justice Ajit Singh administered Roy the oath of office.
The swearing-in ceremony was followed by a Guard of Honour presented by the Arunachal Pradesh Police.
