Eight people were injured following a collision between a truck and a bus here on Saturday, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest), Aslam Khan said that after the collision on Outer Ring Road near the Pitampura area at 3 p.m., other vehicles, including a scooty and a three-wheeler, were also impacted, causing injuries to eight people.
"There were no grievous injuries though," she said.
The police officer said that the truck was from Kanauj, Uttar Pradesh and its driver, Pushpender, 27, was absconding.
"It was loaded with metal sheets from Mundka and was going to Kanpur," he said.
