At least 10 people were killed and several others were injured Saturday after two explosions ripped through a restaurant in Mogadishu, capital of Somalia, police and witnesses said.
"We know that at least ten people died in the explosions and several others got wounded and were taken to the hospital," police officer Qaasin Gurey told Xinhua.
Witnesses said a car laden with explosives was parked outside the Village Restaurant in Mogadishu, and minutes after it exploded, a suicide bomber detonated himself inside the eatery, which was popular with city residents.
