The Delhi government's odd-even traffic regulation scheme that commenced on Friday to bring the national capital's pollution under control received a huge support on social media with majority of twitteratti bracing up the initiative.

Abhishek Gupta, a cricketer who has played for the national under-19 team, supported the government's move.

"##RRoads are so empty with young volunteers stand aside of the roads holding roses but finding only few offenders. #OddEvenBegins##," he tweeted.

Chartered accountant Anurag Pandey said there were no traffic congestions on the roads.
