Two burnt to death in Tripura house blaze

A 75-year-old woman and a youth were burnt to death when a fire broke out in their home in Tripura, police said here Monday.

"Laxmi Chowdhury, a retired school teacher, and a youth were burnt alive when a fire broke out and gutted their house at Ujan Abhonagar area Sunday night," police said.

The cause of the fire and identity of the youth were yet to be known.

Police said Chowdhury's three sons live outside the state in connection with their jobs.
