Two Indian nationals were fighting for their life after being critically injured in an accident involving eight cars in the UAE, a media report said Wednesday.

The two unnamed Indians, along with two other Pakistani nationals, were hurt in an eight car pile-up in the Sharjah Industrial area Tuesday evening, Khaleej Times reported.

The injured were rushed to Al Kuwaiti Hospital in Sharjah. The two Indians have been placed in the ICU.

Traffic officials said the pile-up occurred due to over-speeding and lack of sufficient space between the cars.
