One of the injured was released after administering first-aid, while the other wounded was being brought to the B R Singh Hospital for further treatment, an ER release said.
Following the derailment in between Nalhati and Chatra stations, about 235 km from Kolkata, in ER's Howrah division, two local passenger trains were cancelled, while eight express trains had to be diverted. Two express trains were rescheduled.
