'UAE preparing well to host FIFA U-17 World Cup'

Abu Dhabi, Sep 25 (IANS/WAM) Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, chairman of the Higher Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2013 in the UAE, has said that the UAE has completed the work required in six emirates to host the tournament.

In his statement after the seventh meeting of the committee Tuesday, Sheikh Nahyan commended the efforts of the six organising groups after a field visits to check on what they have accomplished, stressing that all facilities are ready to host the football event.
