Unidentified men booked for shooting pet dog in Gurgaon

Gurgaon Police have registered a criminal case against unidentified men who shot dead a pet dog at a transport company here.

Amit Kumar, incharge of Sector 55-56 police station, said the motive behind the killing of the pet on Friday night could not be established.

Kumar said a case under Section 428 (mischief by killing or maiming animal) of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act had been registered.

Subhash Rawat, owner of Choudhary transport company near Sector 56's HUDA market, said the batteries of 14 of his vehicles were stolen nearly a month back.
