Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday inaugurated 'Lucknow Haat', a single stop for lovers of art and craft.
In 'Lucknow Haat' (market), artisans from the state and other parts of India would be able to showcase and sell their handicrafts.
Addressing a gathering, the chief minister said whenever the 'Make in India' campaign would be discussed, his state would be at the pivot of the drive.
He also announced that on the lines of 'Lucknow Haat', similar business hubs would be established in other places in the state too.
Yadav said the state has a rich pool of artisans, who would now be having a platform in the heart of the state capital to sell their products.
Besides, the chief minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of many developmental projects for Noida and Greater Noida - the suburbs of the national capital Delhi.
Noting that Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway areas would be developed as 24x7 global cities, Yadav announced 62 projects worth Rs.6795.87 crore.
The projects include construction of an auditorium and an indoor stadium at Gautam Buddha University, a 500 KW capacity roof top solar power plant, a grid connected solar power plant with a capacity of 1 MW and a 137 MLD sewage treatment plant among others.
