A 23-year-old woman has been booked for allegedly raping a 16-year-old boy in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.
A case under the sections 7 and 8 of the POSCO (Protection of Children From Sexual Offences) Act was registered against the woman.
The woman, who also filmed herself with the boy, had been reportedly abusing the boy for some time.
She threatened to post the intimate visuals online if the boy did not marry her, the police added.
Police officer T.S. Bhati told IANS: "We have gone through telephone records, SMSs and WhatsApp exchanges between the two. It appears the woman was coaxing the boy into marrying her."
