Director Vikas Bahl and his wife Richa have organised an Adoptathon here in a school where pet lovers can choose from over 150 Indian breed pups and kittens for adoption.
The director in association with World For All, which is an organisation for animal care and adoptions, is hosting the event on Saturday and Sunday.
"The aim of this Adoptathon is to find loving homes for these animals. I do believe we need animals as much as they need us. We do hope to inspire a new generation of pet lovers as having a pet is a truly enriching experience. At Phantom (entertainment company) too we have five adopted dogs and having said that, I do believe having pets makes your home a happier place," Bahl said in a statement.
The event will also see visitors from Bollywood like Farah Khan and her children.
