Full-service airline Vistara on Wednesday said it took delivery of its first Airbus A320neo (new engine option) at Airbus Headquarters in Toulouse -- the 14th aircraft in its fleet.
According to the airline, its A320neo aircraft features several enhancements such as mood lighting and comfortable seating, and is powered by CFM International's advanced LEAP-1A engine.
"The A320neo also ensures operational enhancement as well as cost leadership for us, with extra payload capacity, greater fuel efficiency, and improved range, perfectly aligning with our growth strategy," said Phee Teik Yeoh, Chief Executive Officer of Vistara.
Currently, the airline has expanded its network to 19 destinations with over 550 weekly flights.
