A special investigation team (SIT) probing Madhya Pradesh Vyavsayik Pareeksha Mandal (Vyapam) scam will also investigate the death of a journalist covering it, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said here on Sunday.
The chief minister said he stood with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
Akshay Singh, a New Delhi-based journalist of TV channel Aaj Tak, died in Jhabua on Saturday afternoon.
He went to Madhya Pradesh to cover the recent string of deaths of people involved in the scam.
Akshay called on the parents of Namrata Damor, an alleged beneficiary of the Vyapam scandal who died in mysterious circumstances.
