Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said he will be happy if dissident AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan return to the party.

"Agar aisa hua to bahut achcha hoga (If it happens, it will be very good)," the Aam Aadmi Party leader told India Today news channel.

"Their return will be good for the party," he added, denying allegations that his dictatorial attitude prevents their return.

Both Yadav and Bhushan were removed from the AAP in April for alleged anti-party activities following an acrimonious two-month-long war of words between the founding members of the party and Kejriwal backers.

Since then, Yadav and Bhushan have publicly accused Kejriwal of being intolerant of dissenting voices.

The two later launched a "Swaraj Abhiyaan" campaign to force the AAP to return to what they say were its foundational ideals.
