Actor Orlando Bloom has reportedly been tipped to take over the role of Batman in the "Man of Steel" sequel.
The 36-year-old is said to be the "perfect" choice for Warner Bros' new movie, which will unite the caped crusader with Superman, played by Henry Cavill, for the first time.
"Orlando looks odds-on to get the part even before our first casting call. He would be perfect to play off Henry and I think US audiences would be happy with two Brits as the joint male leads," express.co.uk quoted a senior source at the Warner Bros. studio as saying.
Warner Bros. announced it will release the film "Batman vs. Superman" in 2015 and that it will be directed by "Man of Steel" filmmaker Zack Snyder and written by David S. Goyer.
