A woman in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnore district on Thursday committed suicide after consuming poison along with her two daughters, police said.
"The 38-year-old woman died at the district hospital while her nine-year-old daughter died on the way. Her other daughter, 6, is battling for life. The incident happened at Bairamnagar village when the woman struck by poverty took the extreme step," police said.
The bodies have been sent for autopsy.
