A 22-year-old woman, working in a multinational company here, was 'kidnapped' and thrashed inside a moving car by three men, looted of her valuables and later dropped near a metro station, police said Tuesday.
The incident took place Sunday but the woman filed a complaint Monday evening, police officer Jai Prakash told IANS.
The woman said she was kidnapped by three youths from the Sector 31 market, dragged into a car and beaten up.
Her mobile phone, credit and debit cards and some cash were looted.
"I was returning home in Sector 30 from a beauty parlour in Sector 31 market when I was kidnapped by three unknown men," she said in her complaint.
The woman was later dropped near the HUDA City Centre metro station later that evening.
Police said a case of kidnapping and robbery has been registered.
