Senior BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa was on Wednesday acquitted of charges of accepting bribes in the Bellary mining case, by a CBI special court.
"Justice is done, I stand vindicated," Yeddyurappa tweeted thanking all his well wishers, friends and supporters "who stood with me in my tough times".
"Satyameva Jayate." he said.
Yeddyurappa was indicted for colluding in illegal iron-ore mining in the mineral-rich district of Bellary in August 2011.
