Youth opposes teasing of sister, killed

A young man was beaten to death in Jharkahnd's Palamau district on Tuesday when he protested after his sister was teased, police said.

The incident took place when Wakil Khan, the victim, and his brother Danish went to Khardiha village where their sister was harassed.

The two brothers were then thrashed by villagers. The victim died on the spot and Danish, who was critically injured, has been hospitalized, the police said. One person has been arrested for the crime.
