Zambia's stand-in head coach, Wedson Nyirenda, has announced a 23-member provisional squad of locals to start preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier match against Cameroon next month.
In a statement posted on the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) website on Sunday, the coach said that the local players will start preparations for the November 12 clash on Sunday, reports Xinhua.
"The residential camp will be held in Lusaka and it will be for a month. Foreign-based players will join us later, but the door remains open for more local players to join us," he said.
