Carried away

Karnataka's IT secretary Srivatsa Krishna literally took centrestage at the launch of the country's first and world's largest multi-mode mobile governance platform, Karnataka MobileOne, the state's new e-governance initiative with over 4,500 services. He welcomed the gathering and also gave the vote of thanks. While giving the vote of thanks, Krishna seemed so overwhelmed by the occasion that he forgot to mention the President, who launched MobileOne, or even the state governor Vajubhai Vala, who was present at the occasion. But, of course, he remembered to thank his family, especially his mother.
