External Affairs Minister S M Krishna was at a loss after Brazil crashed out of the Fifa World Cup since he no longer knew which team to support. Help was at hand when his grandson called to say he should support the Netherlands, which he promptly did. Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy, who is in charge of most of the construction for the Commonwealth Games, was expecting his grandson to be thrilled and called him to ask when he was coming to watch the Games. The grandson said he wasn’t planning to come since top athletes like Usain Bolt were not going to be competing.
