One of Mumbai's billionaires hit on a novel and sensible solution to the city's crippling traffic jams. He had a small window of time between flights to attend a meeting in Malad. Instead of risking a four-hour round trip in his Mercedes to north Mumbai, where the roads are jammed owing to repair work, he was heard asking a salesperson from his company to give him a ride on his motorcycle. The sales person's job was to pick up his boss at the airport, take him to his meeting in a mall in Malad and ferry him back to the airport within an hour. Which should certainly be good news for Mr Bajaj.
