Not only is Jairam Ramesh proactive in saving India’s environment, his mission is also reflected in his style statement. When the environment minister shoots letters to senior ministers or other important personalities, he makes sure to write their names and his signature in green sketch pen. The use of a sketch pen with thick nib makes the letters even more prominent — in other words, gives a greener effect to the letter. While his acts have earned Ramesh a lot of dissatisfaction among his political colleagues, his “green” letters are praised by other ministers.
