Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat remains the bone of contention between BJP leaders Shatrughan Sinha and Ravi Shankar Prasad. While the BJP nearly succumbed to “Shotgun’s” charms and threats, Prasad has stuck to his “Patna-or-I-will-not-contest” position. Both of them belong to Patna, which has a sizable population of the caste they belong to. The BJP’s senior leadership has kept both of them on tenterhooks by opting to decide about the contentious seats only at the end of the nomination phase.
