Besieged BJD MLA returns another flat

Coming under sharp attack, BJD MLA Pranab Balabantray, son of party MP Kalpataru Das, today returned another flat that he had availed under discretionary quota from the State Housing Board. He has returned a flat type 1, 404 at Radhakrishna Enclave in Bhubaneswar, which he was allotted in 2008.

On Thursday, the BJD MLA had surrendered Flat E-09 at Netaji Subash Enclave in Bhubaneswar that he also got under discretionary quota from Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA). Kalpataru Das and his extended family face allegations of owning 41 houses and plots including eight super deluxe flats in Bhubaneswar. The properties are in the names of his wife, mother, son and daughter-in-law.
