Governor K Rosaiah has accepted Jayalalithaa's recommendation to drop Shanmuganathan and induct K Pandiarajan into her cabinet as the Minister for School Education, Sports and Youth Welfare. Jayalalithaa also reallocated portfolio of two Ministers.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Monday dropped Minister for Milk and Dairy Development S P Shanmuganathan from her cabinet.
K T Rajenthra Bhalaji, Minister for Rural Industries as the Minister for Milk and Dairy Development and P Benjamin, Minister for School Education, Sports and Youth Welfare as the Minister for the Rural Industries.
Pandiarajan was born in a small village called Vilampatti near Sivakasi. Lost his father, a match factory worker when he was three months old. Studied with scholarships and completed his engineering from PSG Tech, Coimbatore in 1981. Did his MBA from the world renowned XLRI Jamshedpur where he studied Human Resources Management. Started his career in Kolkatta after his MBA.
Pandia Rajan, the pioneer in management and human resources was the founder of Ma Foi, a leading human resource firm, which was later acquired by Randstad. After his stake sale in Ma Foi, along with his wife Latha Rajan he founded Ma Foi Strategic Consultants in 2012.
