Modi, will address the gathering through video-conferencing, and will take questions from some of the top executives of the industry. According to an industry official major political leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal were invited to be a part of the event, but only Modi accepted the request.
This is the third time that Modi has interacted with officials of the technology industry in the last couple of months. Recently, he held a closed-door meeting with a selected group of technology chiefs who had apprised him of the major challenges facing the industry in the country.

Modi had asked them to prepare a white-paper with all their concerns which could be considered for the party’s election manifesto. He has also articulated the need for strong broadband connectivity in the country, digital literacy and e-governance.
Nasscom, which has been trying to extend business lessons outside of the domain of technology, peppering it with lessons of professionals of other fields has invited noted actor and filmmaker Kamal Hassan to give a talk on leadership. Former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist will also be part of the three-day event starting from Wednesday. Last year, actor Amitabh Bachchan and cricketer Rahul Dravid were part of the event.
