Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said here on Tuesday that veteran journalist and political analyst Ved Pratap Vaidik belongs to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Ramdev aide and senior journalist Vaidik has been facing criticism from the opposition after his recent meeting with 26/11 terrorist mastermind Hafiz Saeed in Lahore.
"We are curious to know if the Indian embassy (in Pakistan) facilitated this meeting, the man is an RSS man," said Gandhi as he was entering parliament.
Vaidik has openly accepted that he met Saeed in Lahore, and criticized the Congress for unnecessarily giving it a political twist to put Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government in the dock.
He said that he is ready to share all the records of his meetings in Pakistan.
