Bank of Maharashtra launches 'e-banking lounge'

Bank of Maharashtra, a premier pubic sector bank has launched ‘e-banking lounge’­–3G technology-enabled self banking option at branches­–in Connaught Place in Delhi, Gadkari Chauk in Mumbai and Deccan Gymkhana in Pune.

At a function held at Connaught Place branch in New Delhi, Shri. V.E. Dalvi , General Manager (IRM), inaugurated the first ‘e-banking lounge’ on 15.11.2010. Senior officials of the top management were present on the occasion.

‘e- banking lounge’ provides the facility to customers to do selected banking transactions online through 3-G (Third Generation) technology-enabled computers. ‘e-banking lounge’ will help them deposit cheques through cheque deposit machines and they can get the statement of account printed on their own without the help of branch staff.   

The Bank has simultaneously opened two more ‘e-banking lounges’ viz., at Deccan Gymkhana Branch in Pune and Gadkari Chauk branch, Dadar in Financial capital Mumbai.

‘e-banking lounge’ at Mumbai was inaugurated by Shri. B.K. Piparaiya, General Manager at Gadkari Chauk Branch, Dadar, Mumbai. Senior officials from  Mumbai Region were present.

‘e-banking lounge’ at Pune was inaugurated by Shri. Ajay Banerjee, General Manager, C.O. at Deccan Gymkhana Branch.  Senior officials from Pune City Region were also present.
