BharatMatrimony, Facebook & YouTube visited by 80% internet users: JuxtConsult

BharatMatrimony, the world’s most successful matrimony website, has emerged as the top matrimony website, according to the latest online survey conducted by research firm Juxt Consult. BharatMatrimony has also consistently topped traffic ratings by Comscore and other ranking agencies and had been ranked as the most visited matrimony site in the world by them.

The Juxt Consult study on online usage reveals that a whopping 80% use BharatMatrimony for their matrimonial needs. Only BharatMatrimony, Facebook and YouTube are visited by 80% or more of users in their respective categories. BharatMatrimony was also the most used/preferred matrimony website for 56% of those seeking life partners while Facebook was the most used social networking website (59%). YouTube was the most preferred website for 78% of those who watch videos.

JuxtConsult’s survey has revealed that the active internet users in India stand at 65 million of whom (around) 80% log on to the Internet daily. Nearly 50 million of them are in urban areas and they grew by 9.4 million in one year. The remaining 16 million users are from the rural areas, up by 4.7 million. The report released by JuxtConsult is based on a survey conducted among 21000 individuals spread across all 4 regions of the country.
