In that category, IBM’s Power 7 clearly packs in twice as much performance and energy efficiency than competitive systems, and our clients across sectors and size are clearly drawing on these benefits. The IDC market ranking results for first quarter 2011 are clear proof of that. It is evident that companies, who invest in real R&D and have a robust product roadmap, stand to win client confidence. Watson, is a great example of our commitment to investing in Smarter Computing to solve real life problems.’ said Viswanath Ramaswamy, Country Manager - Power Systems, Systems and Technology Group, IBM India/SA
