Macquarie Securities hires Kloiser-Jones as head of structuring & derivatives, Asia

Macquarie Securities Group (MSG), the equities broking arm of Macquarie Group, today announces the appointment of Jeremy Kloiser-Jones as Head of Structuring and Derivatives Solutions in Asia.

Mr. Kloiser-Jones joins as Executive Director. In this newly created role, Mr. Kloiser-Jones is responsible for helping expand Macquarie’s derivatives product offering to institutional and corporate clients in the Asia Pacific region. He has 13 years industry experience in Asia, with the past decade spent focused on equity derivatives.

“This appointment strengthens our derivatives and general client offering as a full service Asian broker,’’ said Kieran Moffat, Head of MSG’s derivatives business in Asia. “The depth and breath of our service to clients has never been stronger.”

Mr. Kloiser-Jones previously held a number of senior positions including Head of Derivatives Sales at both JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers in Japan, and Managing Director responsible for Banque AIG’s equity derivatives business in Asia, which focused on the provision of derivative product hedging and funding solutions for institutional and corporate clients.

Mr. Kloiser-Jones has first hand experience in equity-linked investment products, equity portfolio hedging, equity-linked variable annuity products, hedge fund trades, privately-placed equity lines, convertible bonds and convertible preferred shares. He will be based in Hong Kong and reports to Mr. Moffat. He starts 1 December.
