Mr. Jan Tibaldi appointed General Manager of The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur

Mr. Jan Tibaldi has been appointed the General Manager of the award-winning luxury hotel The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Mr. Tibaldi's career in the hospitality industry spans almost two and a half decades with experience in senior management positions with Amari Hotels; Four Seasons; Sandy Lane, Barbados; One&Only Resorts and Viceroy Hotels and Resorts.

In his new role Mr. Tibaldi will manage The Oberoi Udaivilas that was ranked the best hotel in the world in Travel + Leisure magazine's World's Best Awards 2007 readers' survey. In 2009, The Oberoi Udaivilas was rated amongst the 10 best hotels in the world for the fourth consecutive year by the readers in Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards and for the third successive year by the readers in Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards.

Mr. Tibaldi was most recently the General Manager of Viceroy Resorts & Residences Anguilla, the five star luxury resort in the British West Indies. In this position, Mr. Tibaldi oversaw the preopening and opening of the resort. Previously, Mr. Tibaldi has served as General Manager of One&Only Le Saint Geran, Mauritius and One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives, and as the Resident Manager of One&Only Le Touessrok, Mauritius and Sandy Lane, Barbados, West Indies.
