Strontium, one of the world's leading suppliers of memory modules, is participating as Platinum sponsor in the Intel Channel Conference. The event is organized in 15 cities across India and is designed to educate Intel channel distribution partners on the latest in product launches, technology announcements and program benefits.

The conference was held at The Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore on September 16, 2009 and at The Crowne Plaza, Delhi on September 18, 2009 and will be held across 13 more cities over next couple of months. At the conference, Strontium showcased its entire range of DRAM and FLASH products with highlight on its industry leading 4GB DDR3 and 4GB DDR2 modules.

Ajay Kogta, Country Manager, India Sub-continent, Strontium Technology, said, "The current leaders in chip production are Samsung, Micron, Hynix and Elpida. These companies are called 'Major Brand' and have a reputation of maintaining high standards for their ICs and the chips are consistently available in the market. Strontium uses only ‘Major Brand Chipsets’. On the other hand, UTT and ETT chips are tested, but not as thoroughly as major chips. Because testing standards have been lowered, the cost of UTT or ETT is better but performance and quality are poor."

“The memory industry is in the midst of a solid rebound. To ride along with the upward memory trend and strengthen Strontium’s brand awareness and boost sales, Strontium will continue the marketing campaigns, channel and PR activities as well as joint promotion programs with our channel partners.” Mr. Kogta added.
