WB govt mulling welfare corpus for lawyers
"Our government is considering group insurance and housing schemes for lawyers, besides forming a welfare corpus for the finacially weaker sections of the legal fraternity," Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said while laying the foundation stone of the South Kolkata Law College at Kasba.
The chief minister urged lawyers to contribute 10 per cent of their income for the weakers section of society.
