1 held for stealing valuables from PWD official's residence
Rajib Tanti was arrested yesterday for stealing valuables worth Rs 15 lakh from the house of PWD Assistant Engineer Ipe Basar here recently.
Tanti had stolen beads, laptop, two mobile handsets from the house, Capital SP Surinder Kumar said here today.
One of the stolen mobile sets was recovered from his possession.
Tanti was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate's court which remanded him to seven days police custody.
