Registrar of the university Shyam Singh Rajpurohit informed that the 10 members of GABP will stay in the city for the next two years to complete the two-year special residential course at the university.
He said that this development was in pursuance of the visit of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Mangolia in May this year, wherein the two countries had signed an MoU and in follow up of this MoU, the Home ministry of India had tasked the Border Security Force (BSF) for paving the way for the GABP to pursue this course here.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the University M L Kumawat, the course on cyber security has received tremendous response and almost all the students from the first batch have been placed well.
