Ten people were arrested for their alleged involvement in an IPL gambling racket in Nandgram area under Sihani gate police station area here, police said today.
After receiving information about the crime, the police raided an office of a local councillor's husband and arrested tem men.
They were identified as Ankit, Anuj, Rajdeep, Rahul Dharmendra, Sanjay, Vivek, Vipin, Ravi and Tishu Tyagi.
The police recovered cash, one laptop and a country made pistol from the spot.
