10 of a family ill due to food poisoning

Ten members of a family were today taken ill after eating stale watered rice in Odisha's Malkangiri district, official sources said here.
Surendra Baidya of MV 45 area under Malkangiri police station and his family members had taken the food in the morning.
After sometime they started vomiting and some of them became unconscious. They were hospitalised, chief district medical officer (CDMO), Udaya Chandra Mishra said.
"They fell ill due to suspected food poisoning. All of them are now out of danger," Mishra said adding food samples have also been collected for further examination.
