Around 30 Kg of diketene leaked from Beichen Biotechnology Company Limited in Shenxian County on June 21.
131 people, including 43 children, have been taken to a hospital, state-run Xinhua new agency reported.
According to the country government, 11 victims have been released from the hospital so far and the rest are stated to be in a stable condition.
Preliminary investigation has shown that the leakage was caused due to negligence.
Country's environmental bureau officials said the company has been ordered to shut down permanently.
