14 students fall ill after consuming mid-day meal

Fourteen students today suffered food poisoning after consuming mid-day meal in a middle school in Adwani Dumariakhurd village under Parbatta block of Khagaria district, an official said.
These students complained of giddiness and some of them vomited soon after eating the meal, District Education Officer Braj Kishore Singh said.
The sick students were taken to a primary health centre. Doctors later discharged all the students but one, he said.
Singh said he has ordered the Block Education Officer to probe the matter and submit a report to him for further action.
