They will be conferred with "state award" in a function to be held at Raj Bhawan on September 5.
The award carries a cash purse of Rs 20,000 and a citation.
Teachers of all categories are in the list of the awardees which included five JBT teachers,
Three TGT teachers, two art teachers, two school Lecturers and one each in Principal, Shastri and Headmaster category. However, only three women teachers are among the state awardees.
Four teachers, who were given national award last year would also be felicitated at the function to be presided over by the Governor and given a cash award of Rs 40,000 each.
Earlier, the government was giving two years extension in service to national awardees and one year extension to state awardees but now the policy has been changed and they are rewarded with one time cash award.
