injured when a private passenger bus carrying them overturned in Bidhan Nagar area of North 24 Parganas district tonight, the police said.
The accident occurred at Sukanta Nagar locality when the bus plying in Kolkata Station-to-Garia via Sector 5 route overturned at about 10:30 pm.
The injured were admitted to the Bidhan Nagar Subdivision Hospital and a nearby private hospital, the sources said.
Rash driving was suspected to be the cause of the accident after which the driver fled.
