According to police, the victim was on March 18 driving a car and had the cash in its trunk. The accused were in other car and intercepted the victim at a traffic signal near Satyawati College in Ashok Vihar and robbed him.
"We received a tip-off that Deen Mohammed and the teenager would come near a banquet hall near GT Road on March 20... Police laid a trap and apprehended the duo," said a senior police official, adding that the other members of the gang will soon be arrested.
