2 Bihar cops killed in accident

Two policemen, including a sub- inspector, were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck near Paswan Chowk in Vaishali district of Bihar today.
"Both the policemen were riding on a motorcycle from Patna to Muzaffarpur to participate in a training programme. They were hit by a speeding truck and died on the spot," Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar said.
The deceased have been identified as Sub-Inspector Anand Bihari, who was posted with Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bihar police in Patna and constable Narendra Singh.
The SP said the truck driver escaped with the vehicle.
