They said Vedamani (62) and his brother Aseervatham (58) were hacked to death, while their sister Kanni Maria (38) was seriously injured in the attack.
Police said two church officials have been detained and they were on the lookout for some others who allegedly carried out the attacked
They said one of the attackers had tried to raise the compound wall for the church, which Vedamani objected to, saying they were trying to encroach his land.
