Although their family members claimed that the two died due to shock over crop loss, police is yet to ascertain the reasons.
50-year-old Nanku, a resident of Chiraiya Majre Saurangabad village in Fetehpur area and 40-year-old Shankar of Gaura Sailak village died yesterday due to shock over crop loss, their family members said.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Fatehpur Virendra Pandey said that the information about Nanku's death was given to the administration after his cremation due to which post-mortem could not be conducted.
On the other hand, Shankar's family has claimed that he died due to shock after facing loss. However, it has come to the notice that he died due to illness, Pandey said.
